Jose Risi, President & Chief Executive Officer
José Risi is the President and CEO of Eminent IT, LLC which he founded in 2009. Mr. Risi is responsible for leveraging his 12 years of IT experience to bring industry best practices to federal and commercial organizations. Mr. Risi served honorably in the Marine Corps and has since managed several innovative projects including but not limited to solutions for DOD, Joint Chief of Staff and commercial organizations. He has a Bachelor Of Science Degree in Information Systems from Strayer University. As a veteran, Jose has developed a strong passion for improving services for our troops and helping leaders accomplish their mission.
Isaac Barnes, Vice President & Chief Technology Officer
Isaac Barnes serves as the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Eminent IT. He is responsible for overseeing product and business development at Eminent IT. He assist in establishing the strategic objectives, vision and mission of the company. Mr. Barnes also serves as CTO on the board of the Washington D.C. chapter of AFCEA. Mr. Barnes is a graduate of The Founder Institute the worlds largest and most successful Startup Incubator. Mr. Barnes was one of the last enlisted computer programmers in the Marine Corps and has over 12 years of experience implementing and developing enterprise solutions for federal and commercial organizations.
Mr. Gatewood of Annandale, Virginia, joined the Marine Corps in June 1966, in Rochester, New York at the age of 17, and graduated from MCRD, Parris Island, South Carolina, during October 1966. He served in the Republic of Vietnam during June 1968 through July 1969, with Sub-Unit One, 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company (ANGLICO).
Subsequent to his departure from active duty, Mr. Gatewood established Quality Support, Inc., a technical, management, and administrative support services firm. Quality Support has since grown into a competitive and very reputable firm with more than 100 employees, and mirrors the work ethic and values consistent the U.S. Marine Corps. Quality Support’s Corporate Office is located in Landover, Maryland, and the Company has maintained facilities in Oakland, CA, and in London, England in behalf of the U. S. Department of State. Mr. Gatewood and Quality Support have been recipients of numerous awards over the years .
With over 27 years of experience in the federal sector, Lisa Newell has received numerous awards for capturing the largest contracts in corporate histories for some of the most prominent technology companies in the world. And not just large companies–she has helped small companies establish business operating infrastructures, launch new business units and exceed revenue and profitability objectives annually. Her responsibilities have included operations and business development with full P&L, service integration, solutions development, and information security.
Newell is extremely active in the federal community. She is President of Operations for AFCEA DC, supports the NOVA chapter as a volunteer, and is an active member of a number of other federal based associations including AFA, NDIA, IAC, and AUSA.
Alford L. McMichael is a veteran of the armed forces of America where he served his country for more than 36 years. He was appointed as the 14th Sergeant Major of the United States Marine Corps on the 30th of June 1999. He made history as the first African-American to ever hold this covenant title. In 2003 Sergeant Major McMichael became the first Sergeant Major ever to serve as the Sergeant Major of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). He was inducted into the Boys and Girls Club of America Hall of Fame in May 2003, for his positive influence while an inspiration to the club movement.
He was inducted into the Arkansas Walk of Fame in July of 2004, for distinguishing himself by making significant contributions in his profession. Alford is the founder and President of the 4 -DREW Foundation, a foundation that supports children at risk. McMichael provides leadership and mentor counseling for high schools for children to have a better understanding for the need to pursue excellence in all endeavors in life.
